Who we are Committed women and men from diverse professions: academics, community organizers and activists from over 22 countries who educate, advocate and implement programs to improve women’s health around the globe.
WHTF began in 1991 as a task force of The Network: TUFH and continues its support. In 2003, GHETS began providing financial support to increase our impact. Judy Lewis WHTF Founding Member receives APHA Life time Achievement Award Prof. Judy Lewis has served in many leadership positions in global and local health. In 2018 she received the Carl E. Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Health Section of the American Public Health Association, honoring the visionaries and leaders who have shaped the direction of international health. |
